My name’s Kate, I’m 30, married to an amazing man, Alan and have a gorgeous son, Jonas, who is 2 and a half years old. When I gave birth to my little boy my world completely changed. I gave up my career, fell in love with this bundle of joy more than I could ever have possibly imagined and started the biggest learning curve of my life: being a mummy. I love reading blogs, love writing and so decided to start my own. I hope it makes you smile, encourages you on those tough days, and gives you 5 minutes to sit, read and relax!
For 7 years I worked for a cancer research charity where I managed people, projects and budgets, and I loved it! Now I manage cooking, cleaning, nappies and the day-to-day joys, challenges and surprises that come with being a full-time mummy. It’s rewarding, hard work, mundane and fun, but I do it because of this: I want nothing more than to raise my son in a happy, secure, loving home and, with the help of two lodgers, I am in the very blessed position of being able to provide this.
I have two main passions in life, my family (as you’ve probably guessed) and my God! I started a relationship with Jesus when I was about 10 and my life has been radically changed by His love, faithfulness and answers to prayer. So here it is, my blog, about being a mummy, raising my son in a Christian home and anything and everything that this exciting journey involves!
I hope you enjoy! x
